MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL. <br />FEBRUARY 12, 2003 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. <br />Ayes (4) LaValle, Montour, Fahey, Anderson. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />STREET It was the consensus of the Council to table action on the Public Works <br />SIGN Director's street sign proposal until the full Council was present. Fahey <br />PROPOSAL indicated that his preference, however, was for the second option, <br />replacing street signs along County roads and main thoroughfares. <br />toinnakismostwoogieb <br />Anderson agreed, but suggested that as other signs need to be replaced, <br />they are replaced with the new -style sign. <br />The City Administrator noted that the reason for the recommendation for <br />total replacement of signs is the cost savings that would be generated by <br />doing all the signs at one time. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2003 -2 -32 — TABLING ACTION ON THE <br />STREET SIGN PROPOSAL UNTIL TILE FEBRUARY 26, 2003 <br />COUNCIL MEETING <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Anderson. <br />Ayes (4) LaValle, Anderson, Montour, Fahey. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />EDA VS. The City Attorney recommended that the EDA go into closed session <br />RUTZICK to discuss pending litigation relative to the EDA's acquisition of the <br />Sherman Rutzick property. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2003 -2 -33 — TEMPORARILY ADJOURNING THE <br />CITY COUNCIL MEETING AND RECONVENING IN CLOSED <br />SESSION AS THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY <br />BASED ON THE RECOMMENDATION OF TFIE CITY ATTORNEY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. <br />Ayes (4) LaValle, Montour, Fahey, Anderson. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />At this point, 7:42 p.m., the EDA went into closed session. <br />
