MINUTES CITY COUNCIL. FEBRUARY 12, 2003 The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. Ayes (4) LaValle, Montour, Fahey, Anderson. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. STREET It was the consensus of the Council to table action on the Public Works SIGN Director's street sign proposal until the full Council was present. Fahey PROPOSAL indicated that his preference, however, was for the second option, replacing street signs along County roads and main thoroughfares. toinnakismostwoogieb Anderson agreed, but suggested that as other signs need to be replaced, they are replaced with the new -style sign. The City Administrator noted that the reason for the recommendation for total replacement of signs is the cost savings that would be generated by doing all the signs at one time. Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 2003 -2 -32 — TABLING ACTION ON THE STREET SIGN PROPOSAL UNTIL TILE FEBRUARY 26, 2003 COUNCIL MEETING The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Anderson. Ayes (4) LaValle, Anderson, Montour, Fahey. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. EDA VS. The City Attorney recommended that the EDA go into closed session RUTZICK to discuss pending litigation relative to the EDA's acquisition of the Sherman Rutzick property. Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 2003 -2 -33 — TEMPORARILY ADJOURNING THE CITY COUNCIL MEETING AND RECONVENING IN CLOSED SESSION AS THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY BASED ON THE RECOMMENDATION OF TFIE CITY ATTORNEY The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. Ayes (4) LaValle, Montour, Fahey, Anderson. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. At this point, 7:42 p.m., the EDA went into closed session.
