When more than one setback applies to a site, structures and facilities must be located to meet all
setbacks, and comply with the following OHWL setback provisions. The structure setback
standards for sewered properties can only be used if publicly owned sewer system service is
available and used by the subject property
2. Structures, impervious surfaces, and sewage treatment systems must meet setbacks from the
Ordinary High Water Level (OHWL), except that one water-oriented accessory structure or
Commented [BH12]: The county highway standard of
50’ does not make sense in the Little Canada context -
our underlying standard of residential setbacks of 30’ is
a better fit. Why would you want to push structures
closer to the water?

Plenty of existing non-conformities in Little Canada on
Edgerton already too I would add.
Commented [DS13R12]: This change is fine. DNR’s
Model Shoreland Ordinance does not address front,
side, or rear yard setbacks.
