<br /> <br /> Staff Report <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />To: Mayor Fischer and Members of the City Council <br /> <br />From: Bryce Shearen, City Administrator <br /> Laura Linehan, Assistant City Administrator <br /> <br />Date: March 11, 2026 <br /> <br />Re: 2027 Budget Calendar <br /> <br />Action To Be Considered: <br />Motion to approve, table, or deny the following: <br />• Annually, staff prepares a budget calendar for City Council consideration. <br /> <br />Background: <br />Annually, city staff prepare the budget calendar to help guide the budget approval process. The <br />preliminary budget must be approved before September 30, as it is used by the county to provide <br />residents with preliminary tax information. Once the preliminary budget has been approved, it <br />cannot be increased.
