OPN offers a
holistic blend of architecture, planning, and interior design services. Over the last 47 years, we have
developed an intentionally diverse list of clients and projects including parks, libraries, education,
public safety, health care, historic, corporate, and recreation. By providing all disciplines relating to the
aesthetics of the design in-house, we are able to ensure the design is unified from site selection to
interior design and furnishings.
Experience with Community Buildings & Public Facilities: Work for municipalities, counties, states,
and the federal government has made up a large portion of our work in the past decade, with hundreds
of completed projects ranging from small restroom renovations to nationally and internationally award-
winning fire stations and many other new and renovated buildings of all scopes and sizes. In the last five
years, more than 75% of our work as been publicly funded projects, including many community buildings
similar to the one envisioned by Little Canada. As civic architects, OPN knows that community facilities
are a place for sharing ideas and more — a stage on which the community acts together. We will leverage
our deep portfolio of people-focused spaces designed with and for the community to find opportunities,
not just solutions, for this facility.
Ability to deliver projects on budget & schedule: On any project, but particularly for our civic clients,
we work diligently to ensure the imperatives of time, budget, and schedule are met. We are proud of our
track record of completing complex projects on time and budget. We take our job as the stewards of
taxpayers’ dollars very seriously. OPN’s attention to detail results in an average change order rate of less
than 3%, including site, which is often the result of unforeseen soil conditions. Our publicly bid projects
are consistently on or under budget. Contractors have told us they like bidding on our documents
because they know they will be accurate. We are equally committed to staying on schedule from project
kick off to final close out. We know that time is money.
620,000+
$220square feet
COMMUNITY CENTER EXPERIENCE
million
Designing public
spaces with
purpose for
47 years
Office locations:
