<br />As outlined in the draft request for proposal, staff require submissions that include a scope of
<br />services and proposal responses to help accomplish the city’s goals. Staff has provided the city’s
<br />current brand style guide as part of the request for proposal process.

<br />Request for Proposal Process
<br />On February 26, the city issued the request for proposal with questions due on March 6. The city
<br />responded to 18 questions and received 12 proposals.
<br />
<br />Each proposal was scored across seven equal categories, with 10 points per category. While cost
<br />was a factor, it was given equal consideration with other factors. It should be noted that staff
<br />provided the budgeted amounts for the project as part of the RFP process:

<br />Staff is recommending Neuger, from Northfield, Minnesota, for a variety of reasons. Neuger has
<br />similar experience with Minnesota cities, including Northfield and Lanesboro. Neuger’s project
<br />team also includes a digital strategist, who will be critical in ensuring the updated brand
<br />recommendations meet digital compliance standards.
