Any special access needs should be directed to <br />the City Engineer. <br />A question was raised about the possibility of burying the power lines on the north portion of the <br />street. (The rest of the street has buried power lines.) The City Administrator stated that we can <br />evaluate this option but is typically very costly. The cost would be added to the assessments for <br />those benefited by this improvement. <br />Another question was asked about adding a street light at DeMont and Stark. The Public Works <br />Director stated a light was to have been relocated to that intersection. He will follow -up with <br />Xcel Energy. <br />The City Administrator asked for a consensus of those present regarding their interest in this <br />project. All present favored reconstruction of the street. It was also noted that a call from another <br />resident on this street indicated her opposition to this project. <br />The City Administrator stated this information would be provided to the City Council at their <br />meeting of December 19°i and an improvement hearing would likely be held in January. If so, <br />notice would be given to all affected property owners. <br />The City Administrator thanked those present for taking the time to discuss this project with staff. <br />The meeting was adjourned. <br />Note: After the neighborhood meeting, a total of three residents expressed opposition to this <br />project. <br />- 3 0 - <br />
