Hanson <br />Wagih Desouky, dba Petro Market, has made application for a Tobacco License in conjunction with a <br />gas station /convenience store operation at 2652 Rice Street. A Sheriff's Department background was <br />done on Mr. Desouky and it is satisfactory. <br />The Oasis Market, which was previously at this location, has not renewed their lease and are vacating <br />the premises. Oasis had an Off -Sale 3.2 Intoxicating Liquor license. However, Petro Market has <br />removed the liquor from the shelves and is not seeking a liquor license. <br />Staff recommends approval of the Tobacco License for Petro Market. <br />
