All other <br />provisions of the Retainer Agreement as approved, and as subsequently amended, remain in <br />effect. <br />(A) Civil legal services covered by retainer. <br />The services included in the retainer are the attorney's reports, agenda reports, <br />non - appellate research, ordinance drafting, review of customary contracts and leases, <br />consultations with the administrative staff, City Council, and other City employees, legal <br />opinions, attendance at two Council meetings per month, and the ordinary and usual day <br />to day City legal work. For these services the Attorneys shall be paid a retainer fee of <br />$2,700.00 per month. <br />(B) Criminal legal services covered by retainer. <br />These retainer services include preparation for and attendance at arraignments, court <br />trials, pre - trials, jury trials, and all other legal work that is necessary relative to the <br />processing and concluding the prosecution of misdemeanor offences committed within <br />the geographical limits of the City. For these services the Attorneys shall be paid a <br />retainer fee of $4,200.00 per month. This retainer fee does not include legal services <br />relative to gross misdemeanor and appellate criminal work, and does not include legal <br />services relative to attendance in downtown St. Paul at the morning custody <br />arraignments. <br />2 <br />
