The first option does not preclude a future Council from granting a subdivision variance, <br />however it does provide a cautionary notice for buyers who might consider asking. The <br />second option is the surest in terms of protecting the City's planning process, but is less <br />likely to be acceptable to the owners. The recent platting /street dedication issues raised <br />in the Twin Lake Trail area illustrate that the reservation of right -of -way does not remove <br />all concerns over future development.
