Fahey
COUNCIL
Beverly Scatze
Jim IaVale
Matt Anderson
Rick Montour
ADMINISTRATOR
Joel R. Hanson
The Food N Fuel store located at 2652 Rice Street is being purchased by Twin Cities
Avanit Stores, .LLC. As a result of this sale, the new owner is requesting the transfer of
Tobacco License and Gas Dispensing License. An Off -Sale 3.2 Malt Liquor License is
also being requested (Food N Fuel does not currently hold a liquor license.)
It is anticipated that the sale will occur on or after June 8, 2001. The appropriate
application forms have been filed for the above licenses and license fees paid. 1 have
requested a revised Certificate of Liquor Liability Insurance to reflect the applicable
license period as well as property address. Sheriff's Department background checks are
pending.
It would be my recommendation that the licenses be approved as requested contingent
upon submission of the appropriate insurance certificate and satisfactory background
checks.
Page 87
