MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />NOVEMBER 21, 2000 <br />CONSENT <br />AGENDA <br />City of St. Paul that is zoned I -1 and would be a good location for his <br />business. However, St. Paul is talking about purchasing the land for open <br />space. <br />Pedersen asked if Frattalone could create some indoor storage area. <br />Frattalone asked if the City would accept a metal pole building for storage. <br />Scalze replied that she would not support that type of building on good <br />soils. <br />Scalze felt that the issue before the Council was that of outdoor storage. <br />Fahey indicated that he was not prepared to reduce the amount of outdoor <br />storage being requested, and stated that he would like to see a quality <br />building developed on the site. LaValle indicated that he would rather see <br />the buildings proposed by Frattalone than a Si million tip -up concrete <br />building. <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2000 -11 -272 — TABLING ACTION ON THE <br />CONCEPT PUD PLAN REVIEW AS APPLIED FOR BY MR FRANK <br />FRATTALONE UNTIL THE FIRST COUNCIL MEETING IN <br />JANUARY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Fahey, LaValle, Morelan, Pedersen, Scalze. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2000 -11 -273 — REMOVING ITEM #8 FROM THE <br />CONSENT AGENDA AND APPROVING THE REMAINING <br />CONSENT ITEMS AS PRESENTED: <br />*APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF ACCOUNTING SOFTWARE AS <br />APPROVED BY THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR; <br />*APPROVING THE PAY REQUEST FOR LITTLE CANADA ROAD <br />IMPROVEMENT AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY <br />ADMINISTRATOR TO EXECUTE THE PAY REQUEST ON <br />BEHALF OF THE CITY; <br />* APROVING THE AGREEMENT WITH RAMSEY COUNTY FOR <br />ROAD MAINTENANCE SERVICES ON LITTLE CANADA ROAD <br />Page 22 <br />
