The project would not significantly affect the <br />capacity of the school or the church, but would result in a series of site plan changes, <br />including access, circulation, and parking. The Church is also seeking approval of a <br />simple subdivision to create a single family home lot from the main church and school <br />property. The new parcel would gain access from Savage Lane, but would remain under <br />the church's ownership and the current "P ", Public zoning. <br />Analysis <br />Joint/Off -Site Parking CUP <br />The church conducted a review of parking needs during a recent church service, counting <br />actual parking on and around the property. This count resulted in a total of 155 parked <br />vehicles between the church's property (75 cars), the City lot east of McMenemy (51 cars) <br />and the Church's shared lot north of Little Canada Road (29 cars). In addition, about 25 <br />cars were parked on- street. <br />The applicants calculate a City- required parking minimum of 220 stalls, based on both <br />church and school requirements - 200 stalls for the church and 20 stalls for the school. <br />The applicants are requesting that the City approve a joint parking arrangement since the <br />Page 52 <br />
