a. Co ve ning La . This Contract is governed in all respects by the laws of the <br />State of Minnesota, and all obligations are enforceable in accordance <br />therewith; and the Contractor, where required, must obtain all licenses or <br />permits to transact a refuse collection business in the City of Little <br />Canada, Ramsey County, and the State of Minnesota. <br />b. Health Regulations and Ordinances. The Contractor will acquaint itself with <br />all pertinent City Ordinances and shall comply with all health rules, <br />regulations, and Ordinances of the City of Little Canada, Ramsey County, <br />and the State of Minnesota in effect at this time of this contract or <br />hereafter adopted. In the event, there is a conflict between the provisions <br />of this contract and the pertinent ordinances, regulations, and statutes the <br />more stringent requirements shall apply. <br />c. The Contractor shall report all violations of ordinances pertaining to garbage <br />and refuse collection and disposal for enforcement purposes including all <br />unsanitary or filthy conditions to the City. <br />6. Safety. The Contractor shall provide and maintain all sanitary and safety <br />accommodations for the use and protection of its employees as may be necessary <br />to provide for their health and welfare and comply with federal, state, and local <br />codes and regulations, as well as those of other bodies and tribunals having <br />jurisdiction. Employee safety and sanitation facility regulations are set forth in <br />Minnesota Statutes 182 and in the Department of Labor and Industry's Labor <br />Safety Code (LISC 73 -75). <br />E. Payment Method Price. <br />1. Collection Service. The resident owner shall pay the Contractor one price for refuse <br />disposal service, refuse collection service, and one price for recyclable collection <br />service as outlined in Attachment "A ". The cost for refuse disposal service is <br />directly tied to the tipping fees at the NRG facility and therefore must be adjusted <br />up or down on a prorata basis as the tipping fees change and by no later than <br />thirty (30) days for any reduction in tipping fees. There shall be no provisions for <br />any price increase for collection, recycling, senior bag rate, or optional townhome <br />rate beyond that provided for on Attachment "A ".
