ELI ROAD /DESOTO STREET <br />Feasibility Study <br />2002 Street Reconstruction and Utility Improvements <br />Little Canada, Minnesota <br />The only issue that remains is the type of curb to be installed along the right -of- <br />way. The City Council needs to give direction as to whether the curb and gutter <br />should be barrier, surmountable, or a combination. Surmountable is being <br />considered due to parking issues during Canadian Days. <br />B. SEXTANT AVENUE <br />No issues remain unanswered for the design and reconstruction of Sextant <br />Avenue. <br />C. STARK STREET <br />No issues remain unanswered for the design and reconstruction of Stark Street. <br />COMMERCIAL <br />A. MARKET PLACE DRIVE <br />The City Council needs to provide direction on the following issues: <br />• Should the street width allow for parking on one, both or no sides? If parking <br />is not allowed the minimum street width should be 32 -feet face -of -curb to <br />face -of -curb based on the City's Assessment Policy Governing Street <br />Reconstruction /Rehabilitation and the existing traffic volumes. <br />• Should improvements to the existing parking lots impacted by the street <br />construction be included in the project if directed by the Developer? <br />• City Staff proposes that the amenities be bid as a separate project following <br />the completion of the street reconstruction project. <br />B.
