Twin Lake Lakeshore Owners
RE: Fish Winter IGR
6512884121
T -054 P.0021008 F -131
While Twin Lake is a small many years. . has n had history obecau a of the unusually harsh winter we had
enjoyed by residents for many years.
this year, the majority of the fish in our lake did not survive.
We have discussed the procedures for restocking and had Jeff Gorton, from the Minnesota
Department of Natural Resources, give an explanation about the health of the lake and fish
populations. We are very concerned about maintaining the quality of our lake.
We have been doing someinvestigating and found that to restock Twin Lake would be very
expensive. To do a good job ofjump- starting the fish stock, it would cost between $1,500 and
$2,000. We have begun to get commitments from residents to donate to the cost of restocking,
but would like to know if it is possible to obtain financial aid from the city to help us with this
endeavor.
Thank you for your consideration of this request.
ct—cQ /MA( /42e ;w
Mary and'erry Telega
253 Twin Lake Trail
Little Canada, MN 55127
(Attached is documentation of our efforts.)
Page 35
