MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MAY 23, 2001 <br />CONSENT <br />AGENDA <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2001 -5-112 — APPROVING THE CONSENT AGENDA <br />WHICH CONTAINS THE FOLLOWING: <br />*APPROVAL OF THE RENEWAL OF GAMBLING LICENSE ,4ND <br />PREMISES PERMITS FOR THE LITTLE CANADA FIRE <br />DEPARTMENT, LICENSE PERIOD AUGUST 1, 2001 THROUGH JULY <br />31, 2003; <br />*APPROVAL TO RECONVENE THE DEBT LEVY REDUCTION <br />COMMITTEE AS RECOMMENDED BY THE CITYADMINLSTRATOR; <br />*APPROVAL OF LIO_UOR AND TOBACCO LICENSES AS <br />RECOMMENDED BY CITY STAFF FOR THE LICENSE PERIOD JULY <br />1, 2001 THROUGH JUNE 30, 2002; <br />*APPROVAL OF OFF -,SALE 3.2 MALT LIQUOR LICENSE, TOBACCO <br />LICENSE, AND GAS DISPENSING LICENSE FOR FOOD N FUEL; <br />*AUTHORIZING CERTIFICATION OF DELINQUENT WATER AND <br />SEWER BILL FOR THE VENETIAN INN TO PROPERTY TAXES; <br />*APPROVAL OF PAY REQUEST NO. 1 FOR THE COUNTY ROAD B <br />AND DIANNA LANE LIFT STATIONS: <br />*APPROVAL OF THE VOUCHERS <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, Montour, Fahey, LaValle, Anderson. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />PITRINA PARK The Council reviewed the request of the Pitrina Park Townhome <br />CUL -DE -SACS Association to make the cul -de -sacs within this area public streets so that the <br />City would be responsible for their maintenance. They also noted the <br />information provided by City staff on other private streets in the City and the <br />impact that approval of this request would have. <br />Fahey felt that the staffs recommendation to deny the request was a solid one <br />and indicated that he was unwilling to accept the cul -de -sacs as City streets. <br />Scalze agreed and felt acceptance would set a terrible precedent.
