Philbrook
indicated that the storage building would be used for storage of office
supplies and equipment as well as property maintenance equipment.
Philbrook indicated that the garage would be placed about 15 feet from the
existing parking lot, which is 5 feet in from the parking lot. He noted that
the parking lot is actually owned by St. John's Church, and Global
Volunteers has a 99 -year lease to use the lot.
Philbrook reported that the shed is a pre -built structure that is 12 feet by
22 feet. It will have shingles and stucco siding that match the existing
building. The building will be located being the existing building. There
are a lot of trees and shrubs in the area, therefore, the building will not be
very visible.
Philbrook expressed concern with the Planner's recommendation that the
doors on the building be limited to service doors. He noted that the
building is pre -built and thought he might be limited as to the type of
doors the building comes with. The picture he presented to the
Commission showed a roll -up garage -style door on the structure.
Page 7
