Green, Co. to read our water meters has expired. They <br />have indicated that they do not wish to continue reading our water meters. Therefore, the city <br />requested proposals from companies to read our water meters. Howard R. Green, Co. read our <br />meters for $.60 per meter. The following is a summary of the results: <br />Company Cost /Meter <br />LABCO, Inc. $.80 <br />RMR Services No Proposal <br />SL -serco $.60 <br />Based on the above it is recommended that the Council authorize staff to enter into a <br />contract with SL -serco to read our water meters. Meter reading is budgeted in both the 2000 <br />and 2001 budgets in the temporary employee account. <br />Page 55 <br />
