Uttle Canada •- K&J Catering.CUP . <br />FILE NO: 758.09 - 0031 <br />K &J Catering IS requesting approval of a Conditional Use Permit to allow a Commercial <br />Recreational Use with alcohol at the old Little Canada School site. The use would be as <br />a rental.hali, with the applicant supplying'a.caterer's liquor license for alcohol service <br />The.property has served as a rental hall, but without a separate liquor license for the <br />premises. Previous users supplied their own' tiquorwhen they.used the site The.applicant <br />argues that security would be better under the proposed arrangement due to'the ability to <br />monitor alcohol sales and consumption, The Planting Commission.recornmended <br />approval of the CUP; with the requirement that the facility hire security personnel. The <br />applicant indicated agreement with this condition: Planning.Staff recommended that the <br />parking lot be newly .striped to better control parking, particularly during .evening hours • <br />when the existing striping is difficult to see.
