MINUTES:
PLANNING COMMISSION
SEPTEMBER 14, 2000
LOT
COMBINATION
3252 -3254
RICE STREET
LOT
COMBINATION
3220 -3222
RICE STREET
for appropriate access for the business and maneuvering in and
out of the site;
*The configuration of the building on the property mandates this
type of access;
*The shape of the property is unique and difficult to deal with;
*Given the existing wide open nature of the access point on Spruce
Street, the change is an improvement to what currently exists;
Motion seconded by Carson.
Motion carried 7 — 0.
Tom Dunsmore appeared before the Commission requesting approval
of the combination of lots located at 3252 and 3254 Rice Street. These
lots are part of the Blacktem Office Park, and two separate building
units are being combined into one.
The City Planner suggested that the association documents be reviewed to
determine if there are any issues with maintenance of common areas and
apportionment of maintenance costs that should be addressed as the result
of the lot combination.
Montour asked if the lot combination affected the parking requirements at
the office park. The City Planner replied that parking requirements would
not be affected.
Mr. Barraclough recommended approval of the lot combination for 3252
and 3254 Rice Street as requested subject to compliance with the
recommendations of the City Planner.
Motion seconded by Kraemer.
Motion carried 7 — 0.
Mr. Barraclough recommended approval of the lot combination for 3220
and 3222 Rice Street as requested subject to compliance with the
recommendations of the City Planner.
Motion seconded by Kraemer.
Motion carried 7 — 0.
Page 11
