Also attached <br />is a copy of the letter received describing the impact and the proposed mitigation <br />(replacement) of the wetland. <br />For clarification, it is the District's policy not to grant the deminimus exemption unless <br />the applicant can meet the sequencing requirements of WCA. This primarily requires <br />that a hardship must be demonstrated. In this case, the construction of the home on this <br />lot could not be accomplished without some minor impact to the wetland on this site. <br />As it pertains to the Scully property, we are not allowing wholesale wetland filL This fill <br />is only allowed for fill under 2000 sq. ft. and only under a hardship condition. Any other <br />wetland impacts must comply with the sequencing requirements of WCA (avoid, <br />minimize and replace). Typically fill is only allowed for site access situations and must <br />be replaced at a 2:1 ratio within the watershed. <br />Cliff <br />Page 56 <br />
