MINU 1'LS PLANNING COMMISSION MAY 11, 2000 REZONING JACKSON STREET PARK PROPERTY AMENDING THE SIGN ORDINANCE DEFINITION OF MEDICAL CLINICS REDEVELOP- MENT DISTRICT NO. 3 -2 1l01111t Montour recommended approval of the rezoning of the Jackson Street Park property from Single - Family Residential (R -1) to Public (P). Motion seconded by Barraclough. Motion carried 7 — 0. The City Planner presented a Zoning Code amendment relating to the Sign Ordinance, which includes sign ordinance provisions in the various individual Zoning Districts. The Planner pointed out that this is a clarification of the Code and more clearly delineates the sign ordinance requirements for each Zoning District. Kraemer recommended approval of an ordinance amending Section 903.110 of the Little Canada City Code, known as the Zoning Ordinance, by providing for sign regulations in the B-4, I -P, P, and PUD Districts. Motion seconded by Duray. Motion carried 7 — 0. The City Planner presented a Zoning Ordinance amendment which provides for a clearer definition of medical clinic eliminating chemical dependency treatment centers from the definition. Knudsen recommended approval of an ordinance amending Section 902 of the Little Canada City Code, known as the Zoning Ordinance, by providing for amended definitions of "Medical Clinics" and "Rehabilitation Centers ". Motion seconded by Kraemer. Motion carried 7 — 0. The City Planner presented an amendment to the City's Comprehensive Plan as well as Zoning Code relative to allowed uses and site plan requirements in Redevelopment District No. 3 -2 at Rice Street and Little Canada Road.
