MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MAY 23, 2000 <br />AMENDMENT <br />TO IBA <br />SIGN <br />ORDINANCE <br />Upon motion by Scalze, seconded by Pedersen, the public hearing was <br />closed. <br />Given that there weren't four members of the Council present, this matter <br />had to be tabled. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2000 -5 -131 — TABLING ACTION ON THE <br />REZONING OF THE JACKSON STREET PARK PROPERTY TO <br />THE JUNE 13, 2000 CONSENT AGENDA <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Fahey. <br />Ayes (3) Scalze, Fahey, Pedersen. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Mayor Fahey opened the public hearing to consider amending the <br />Zoning Code relating to the Sign Ordinance by providing for sign <br />regulations in the B-4, I -P, P, and PUD Districts. It was noted that <br />the Planning Commission has recommended approval of the amendment. <br />There was no one present from the general public wishing to comment on <br />this matter. <br />Upon motion by Fahey, seconded by Scalze, the public hearing was <br />closed. <br />Given that there weren't four members of the Council present, this matter <br />had to be tabled. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2000 -5 -132 — TABLING ACTION ON THE <br />AMENDMENT TO THE ZONING CODE RELATING TO THE SIGN <br />ORDINANCE TO THE CONSENT AGENDA FOR THE JUNE 13, <br />2000 COUNCIL MEETING <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Fahey. <br />Ayes (3) Scalze, Fahey, Pedersen. <br />Nays (0).
