Hanson, City Administrator <br />DATE: June 8, 2000 <br />RE: Salary Scale for Accounting Supervisor <br />Attached is a proposed Salary Scale for the Accounting Supervisor position. This scale <br />was developed using information in the Stanton Report for the positions of Accountant I, <br />II, and III weighted at two - thirds and Finance Director weighted at one -third with the <br />same grouping of cities we use for other positions. The revision is necessary to be <br />competitive with the current labor market. It would be my recommendation that the scale <br />be approved as proposed. <br />Tina Hix has been hired as the City's Accounting Supervisor. She will begin <br />employment with the City on Monday, June l9°i, Her starting salary will be $39,000. <br />Tina has a very strong accounting background and I am sure she will do an excellent job <br />for the City.
