Given it's late arrival, the
Planner has not had an opportunity to prepare a report for your consideration. I have asked him
to do so and have it available for Tuesday's meeting.
You will note that the building size has expanded with half of the proposed structure to be a
future development. The storage area has also been better defined and reduced in size. We have
not received any engineering reports indicating that the site could not support a building of
greater magnitude. Based on my conversations with Mr. Groholski, I do not believe we will
have any such information prior to Tuesday's meeting.
There are a number of issues that need to be resolved before we can finalize approval on this
matter. Some of them are as follows:
• Better definition of screening areas.
• Description of items to be included in outdoor storage area.
• Planning for construction of future building area.
• Construction materials proposed for the structure.
• Comments from planner on truck parking as part of outdoor storage in TIF Distnet.
While further work needs to be done on this concept, I believe Precision Tree is looking for an
indication from the Council if they are moving in the right direction.
cc: Precision Landscape & Tree, Inc.
Steve Grittman, City Planner
\ \CLCSRVOI \HOM E\Jessica.\Agenda\Agenda May
Page 32
