Hanson <br />Email: cityhall @ci.little- canada.mn.us <br />MEMORANDUM <br />TO: Mayor Fahey & Members of the City Council <br />FROM: Greg Schroeder, Public Works Director <br />DATE: April 20, 2000 <br />RE: 2000 Street Seal Coating <br />On Wednesday, April 20, 2000, the City of Little Canada received, opened, and read aloud the <br />bids for our street seal coating. In an effort to get the best value for the City, we requested bids <br />using virgin and recycled aggregate. Attached is a summary of the bids received. Also, attached <br />is the list of streets to be seal coated. <br />After evaluating the bids, it was determined that Frattalone Paving provided the best value for <br />the City at an estimated total value of $24,006.96. There are sufficient funds in our street budget <br />for this work. <br />I recommend that the Council direct staff to enter into a contract with Frattalone Paving, Inc. <br />for our 2000 street seal coating. <br />H: \KrisP \CORRESP\2000 \Seal Coating.doc <br />page 176 <br />
