MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MARCH 22, 2000 <br />PROPERTY <br />DIVISION - <br />666 LAHORE <br />ROAD - <br />O'NEIL <br />SUP FOR <br />HOME <br />OCCUPATION - <br />2622 JACKSON <br />STREET - <br />BIXBY <br />SWIM <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (3) Morelan, Scalze, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Scalze opened the Public Hearing to consider the request for a <br />property division of 666 LaBore Road into two single - family lots. <br />The Planning Commission has recommended approval of the property <br />division. Scalze asked about the storage building on the property. The <br />Planner replied that the applicant has indicated that the storage building <br />will be either removed or brought into conformance with setback <br />requirements. <br />There was no one from the general public present wishing to comment on <br />this matter. <br />Upon motion by LaVaile, seconded by Morelan, the public hearing was <br />closed. <br />Mr. LaVaile introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2000 -3 -68 - APPROVING THE DIVISION OF 666 <br />LABORE ROAD INTO TWO SINGLE FAMILY LOTS AS <br />REQUESTED BY THEODORE AND PATRICL4 O'NEIL SUBJECT <br />TO COMPLL4NCE WITH THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE <br />CITY PLANNER AND SUBJECT TO THE NEW HOME MEETING <br />ALL CITY SETBACK REQUIREMENTS <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (3) LaVaile, Scalze, Morelan. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Scalze opened the Public Hearing to consider the application for <br />Special Use Permit for home occupation at 2622 Jackson Street as <br />requested by Mr. Scott Bixby. It was noted that Mr. Bixby could not <br />be present this evening and has requested that action on his application <br />be tabled until the April 26th Council meeting. <br />Scalze asked why the City should approve a Special Use Permit for a <br />home occupation that is clearly outside the parameters of home <br />occupations allowed by the ordinance. The Planner replied that the City <br />Council can treat this request as being outside the allowable parameters. <br />However, the property owner can make a request for a home occupation <br />Page 12 <br />
