Public Outreach Conclusions: <br />• The Northeast Metro Transit Restructuring Plan must be modified to address stakeholder and <br />customer concems. <br />• Given a static amount of transit funding, any modifications made as a result of the public <br />outreach process will alter the plan's efficiency and productivity. <br />• To allow ample time to research and evaluate problem areas in Sector 2, changes in the <br />majority of routes will be deferred until March 2001 (see map, p. x). <br />• Retaining service to Mounds View and Reservoir Boulevard in Columbia Heights will address <br />80 percent of Sector 1 concerns. <br />• A phased implementation of Sector 1 and part of Sector 2 will begin in September 2000. <br />• Additional enhancements may be made possible, provided added funding is available. <br />page 250 <br />
