Northland Inspections
2885 Vanderbie Sc
Little Canada MN 55117
April 6, 2000
Mr. Joel Hanson, City dministrator
City of Little Canada
515 Little Canada Road
Little Canada, MN 55117
Re: 3240 Twin Lake Road
Dear Mr. Hanson,
It was brought to my attention on or about March 28, 2000, some concerns regarding the property
under construction at 3240 Twin Lake Road. I proceeded to do a site inspection on Friday March 31st
and viewed the following conditions.
Jnspection•
1. There still : remains the open hole from demolition of the original home. The hole depth is
approximately 4 to 5 feet deep and there is debris scattered around the hole for a distance of 10 to 12
feet. The debris consists of remnants of the old house, wood, glass, brick, etc. Also, there are several
piles of trees and branches that appear to be ready to be removed.
2. Construction waste from the new home being built is overflowing the 30 cubic yard dumpster
that has been placed near the garage. Debris has also been placed around the sides of the container on
account of the fact that it is fill. Plywood and lumber is also scattered about
3. Approximately 10 to 20 cubic yards of clean fill has been placed on the top of the City's sewer
easement during the rough back fill ofthe house. A silt fence to control erosion is in place along the
property line to the north of 3240 Twin Lake Road and appears to be maintained. No dirt has yet to
drain or erode onto the neighboring property.
Action:
April 3,2000 I placed a phone call to Ben from Preferred Builders and he assured me the jobsite
would be cleaned up
Page 26
