CITY OF LITTLE CANADA <br />RESOLUTION VACATING ALLEYWAYS AND DAY AVENUE <br />WHEREAS, <br />The City Council of Little Canada has determined to vacate the following: <br />Alleyway lying between Lots 1 through 6 on the south and Lots 25 through 30 on <br />the north, Block 1, Bemis Heights; <br />Alleyway lying between Lots 1 through 15 on the south and Lots 16 through 30 <br />on the north, Block 2, Bemis Heights; <br />Alleyway lying between Lots 1 through 15 on the south and Lots 16 through 30 <br />on the north, Block 3, Bemis Heights; <br />Alleyway lying between Lots 1 through 15 on the south and Lots 16 through 30 <br />on the north, Block 4, Bemis Heights; <br />Day Avenue lying between Park Street on the west and Sylvan Street on the east. <br />AND WHEREAS, <br />A public hearing was held on March 22, 2000 and continued until April 12, 2000 before <br />the City Council in the City Center after due published and posted notice had been given <br />by the City Administrator, a reasonable attempt was made to give personal notice to all <br />affected property owners, and all persons interested were given an opportunity to be <br />heard; <br />AND WHEREAS, <br />Any person, corporation, or city owning or controlling easements contained upon the <br />property vacated, reserves the right to continue maintaining the same or to enter upon <br />such way or portion thereof vacated to maintain, repair, replace, remove, or otherwise <br />attend thereto; <br />AND WHEREAS, <br />It appears that it will be in the best interest of the City to vacate such alleyways and Day <br />Avenue; <br />Page 42 <br />
