Given the small <br />size of the project and the time of year that the plan vas prepared last fall, the project <br />did not proceed to bidding at that time. It was felt that the City could receive more <br />competitive bids by combining the right turn lane improvement with a larger project. <br />Now that Little Canada Road is ready to proceed to bidding, we would recommend that <br />the Country Drive right turn lane be combined with that project and bid in the same <br />package. Therefore, we are requesting authorization to advertise for bids for the <br />Country Drive right turn lane with the Little Canada Road improvement. <br />If you have any questions regarding this project, please call. <br />Sincerely, <br />Howard R.
