CITY OF LITTLE CANADA <br />RESOLUTION VACATING A PORTION OF THE JACKSON STREET <br />RIGHT -OF -WAY <br />WHEREAS, <br />The City Council of Little Canada has determined to vacate the following: <br />The east five feet of street right -of -way for Jackson Street lying between <br />Little Canada Road on the south and Maple Lane on the north. <br />AND WHEREAS, <br />A public hearing was held on March 22, 2000 before the City Council in the City Center <br />after due published and posted notice had been given by the City Administrator, a <br />reasonable attempt was made to give personal notice to all affected property owners, and <br />all persons interested were given an opportunity to be heard; <br />AND WHEREAS, <br />Any person, corporation, or city owning or controlling easements contained upon the <br />property vacated, reserves the right to continue maintaining the same or to enter upon <br />such way or portion thereof vacated to maintain, repair, replace, remove, or otherwise <br />attend thereto; <br />AND WHEREAS, <br />It appears that it will be in the best interest of the City to vacate such street right -of -way; <br />AND WHEREAS, <br />Four -fifths of all members of the City Council concur in this resolution; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the property as described below is hereby <br />vacated: <br />The east five feet of street right -of -way for Jackson Street lying between Little <br />Canada Road on the south and Maple Lane on the north. <br />Adopted by the Council this 22nd day of March, 2000. <br />Approved: <br />Attest: <br />Joel R.
