The building was constructed to house RJ Marco's offices, as well as two or <br />more other tenants. The City's Sign Ordinance allows multiple business signs in multi - <br />tenant commercial buildings by Conditional Use Permit. All signs would be placed on the <br />front building wall, facing Viking Drive and Highway 36. <br />The Ordinance allows signage to constitute up to 15% of the front building facade. The <br />proposed sign plan illustrates three primary sign locations, one on each of the broad <br />columns which identify entry door locations. The applicant proposes signs which will total <br />less than 5% of the building facade, well below the threshold standard.
