MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />NOVEMBER 10, 1999 <br />CUP — <br />194-196 RYAN <br />LANE — <br />LEE ROSSOW <br />Rossow reported that he has other properties he moved the trailer to. <br />Scalze suggested that the trailer be kept at of these other properties. She <br />pointed out that Rossow is operating a bus company from his properties in <br />Ryan Industrial Park, not a construction company. Rossow indicated that <br />the trailer is most convenient where it is presently located. <br />The City Administrator asked how often the trailer leaves the site. <br />Rossow replied that it has not left the site in the past two years. The <br />Zoning Administrator indicated that if that is the case; the trailer would be <br />classified as being used for storage and would not be allowed. <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 99 -11 -225 —TABLING ACTION ON THE <br />CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR OPEN AND OUTDOOR <br />STORAGE OF EQUIPMENT AND MATERIALS AS AN ACCESSORY <br />USE AT 3175 RYAN LANE PENDING FURTHER REVIEW OF THE <br />ISSUES RELATED TO THIS PROPERTY BY THE ZONING <br />ADMINISTRATOR <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Morelan. <br />Ayes (5) Fahey, Morelan, Scalze, Pedersen, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />The Mayor opened the public hearing to consider the application for <br />Conditional Use Permit for open and outdoor storage of materials as an <br />accessory use and open and outdoor storage of equipment as a principal <br />use for 194 -196 Ryan Lane as requested by Mr. Lee Rossow. The <br />Planning Commission has recommended approval of the CUP. <br />There was no one present from the general public wishing to comment on <br />this matter. <br />Upon motion by Morelan, seconded by LaValle, the public hearing was <br />closed. <br />Mr. Morelan introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 99 -11 -226 — APPROVING THE CONDITIONAL <br />USE PERMIT FOR OPEN AND OUTDOOR STORAGE OF <br />MATERIALS AS AN ACCESSORY USE AND OPEN AND OUTDOOR <br />STORAGE OF EQUIPMENT AS A PRINCIPAL USE FOR 194 -196 <br />RYAN LANE AS REQUESTED BY MR LEE ROSSOW SUBJECT TO <br />COMPLIANCE WITH THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE <br />Page 85 <br />
