Way f SS Wanaaa
MAYOR
Bill Blesener
COUNCIL
Rick Montour
John Reis
Michael McGraw
Shelly Boss
515 Little Canada Road, Little Canada, MN 55117 -1600 ADMINISTRATOR
(651) 766 -4029 / FAX: (651) 766 -4048 Joel R. Hanson
www.ci.little-canada.mn.us
MEMORANDUM
TO: Mayor Blesener and Members of the City Council
FROM: Joel Hanson, City Administrator
DATE: June 26, 2012
RE: Partial Payment for Interim Finance Director Services
As you are aware, the City has an agreement with Shelly Rueckert to perform Interim
Finance Director services relative to the 2011 Audit. The contract amount was for a
maximum of 100 hours at $45.00 per hour.
Shelly submitted and was paid for a pay request for work performed from January
through May 25th for 118.62 hours ($5,337.90). She has now submitted a pay request for
work performed from May 26t1' through June 25th for 119.62 hours ($5,382.90).
Not all the work performed is related to the audit work papers; some of it is for general
accounting work that was necessary. It should be noted that the City has been without a
Finance Director for the past six months, and Shelly has definitely spent the time keeping
up with the City's general accounting work.
I would recommend payment of the pay request as submitted, with the understanding that
there may be an additional 50 to 100 hours yet to be accrued for general accounting work.
The 2011 Audit is essentially complete at this point.
