Based upon an onsite inspection, the <br />following violation exists (photos attached): <br />> Tall grass and weeds not maintained in character with neighboring properties. This <br />grass must be cut and maintained in appropriate fashion. This means the entire yard and <br />not just the areas easily mowed. The initial cutting will also require the clean -up and <br />proper disposal of trimmings given its current length. <br />> There is also some brush on the property that needs to be disposed of in an approved <br />manner. <br />The City has notified you of similar violations in the past. Therefore, if corrections are not <br />completed by Wednesday, July 25, 2012 the City will take the necessary steps to abate the <br />nuisance pursuant to Section 601.080 of the Little Canada City Code. (Text Below) This <br />will result in city staff requesting the City Council authorize the abatement of this nuisance <br />violation during their meeting at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 25, 2012. If so ordered, all <br />costs of the abatement together with a fee in the amount of not more than 25% of the cost to <br />abate the nuisance shall be imposed, except that in no event shall the administrative fee be <br />less than $50.00 shall be assessed for collection on the property taxes. <br />Furthermore, you need to continue to maintain the property in an acceptable manner to avoid <br />further abatement activity and /or citations. <br />We would truly appreciate your cooperation in resolving this violation at once and <br />maintaining the front and rear yard in the future.
