MINUTES <br />PARK <br />IMPROVEMENTS <br />& TRAIL <br />SYSTEM <br />PRIORITIES <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />PARKS & RECREATION COMMISSION <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />JULY 19, 2012 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Parks & <br />Recreation Commission of the City of Little Canada, Minnesota, was held <br />on the 19th day of July, 2012, in the Council Chambers of the City Center <br />located at 515 Little Canada Road East in said city. <br />Vice Chair Patti Sullivan called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the <br />following members of the commission were present: <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: <br />Ms. Patti Sullivan, Vice Chair <br />Mr. Jeff Heikke (arr. 8:25 p.m.) <br />Mr. Tom Maida <br />Mr. Dan Slain <br />Mr. Kevin Steinert <br />ABSENT: Ms. Linda Fahey <br />Ms. Katie Lolmaugh <br />ALSO PRESENT: <br />Mr. Jim Morelan, Parks & Rec Dir. <br />Mr. Bill Sanders, Parks Consultant <br />Ms. Kathy Glanzer, City Clerk <br />The Commission unanimously approved the minutes of the June 28, 2012 <br />meeting. <br />Based on previous meeting discussions and input from Commission <br />Members, the Parks Consultant submitted a proposed Park and Trail <br />Improvement Priority Ranking which included rough cost estimates for <br />each project. <br />The Consultant then began a detailed review of each potential project. <br />1. Rondeau Park — landscape improvements along north and east <br />sides - $10,000 <br />Sanders indicated that this project has approved funding, but has not yet <br />been implemented. <br />2. Waterworks Trail at Railroad Crossing — trail improvements — <br />$150,000 <br />
