7 -09 -1999 12:55PM <br />FROM SWEENEY LAW FIRM 2235289 P.3 <br />CITY OF LITTLE CANADA <br />ORDINANCE NO. <br />AN INTERIM ORDINANCE EXTENDING A MORATORIUM <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE CANADA HEREBY ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. <br />A Moratorium Ordinance relating to certain property within <br />the City of Little Canada. <br />(A) Purpose and Intent. The City of Little Canada has <br />adopted a Comprehensive Plan and zoning text, pursuant to M.S. <br />Sections 462.351 and following, and the Little Canada City <br />Council has authorized staff to conduct a study and to analyze <br />existing uses, proposed uses, and existing zoning of the property <br />described below within the City of Little Canada for the purpose <br />of considering amendments to the Comprehensive Plan or zoning <br />text relating to the property described below. <br />(B) Pursuant to M.S. Section 462.355, Subd. 4, this interim <br />ordinance, for the purpose of protecting the planning process and <br />the health, safety, and welfare of Little Canada citizens, hereby <br />prohibits the development, subdivision, or the issuance of <br />permits, including, but not limited to, building permits, filling <br />permits, and grading permits, relative to the following described <br />property located with the City of Little Canada: <br />Property Identification Number 07 29 22 22 0026 <br />Property Identification Number 07 29 22 22 0080 <br />Property Identification Number 07 29 22 22 0029 <br />(C) This Ordinance extends the moratorium created by Little <br />Canada Ordinance No. 484, which will expire on July 20, 1999. <br />The moratorium, as extended, shall expire on January 16, 2000, if <br />not extended or repealed prior to that time. <br />1 <br />PAGE 173 <br />
