Although evacuation plans must be approved
by the municipality, this Department enforces this requirement, as well as other requirements of Minn.
Stat. If the City of Little Canada determines that these evacuations plans are
inadequate, this Department has the authority to enforce the provisions of Minn. Stat. 327.20, subd. 1,
to require the manufactured home parks to amend their evacuation plans and be approved by your City,
or to construct an emergency shelter. Please send me written notification of the City's determination if
this is the case.
If you have any questions regarding this matter, please contact me by phone at 651- 773 -4469 or by
electronic mail at joe.hibberdlv'co.ramsev.mn.us
Sincerely,
Joseph Hibberd,•R.S.
Supervisor
Community Environmental Health Program
h
Cc: Joel Hanson, City Administrator
mart.
y71AY %
—
printed on recycle
Page 99
nsumer content
