515 Little Canada Road, Little Canada, MN 55117 -1600
(651) 484 -2177 / FAX: (651) 484 4538
TO: Mayor & Council Members
Planning Commission Members
FROM: Elizabeth Mursko, Zoning Administrator
DATE: June 18, 1999
RE: Update CUP Application for 3104 Edgerton
MAYOR
Michael I. Fahey
COUNCIL
Beverly Scalze
Jim LaValle
Steve Morelan
Bob Pedersen
ADMINISTRATOR
Joel R. Hanson
The Planning Commission recommended denial of the Conditional Use Permit for open
and outdoor storage of equipment and accessory use for 3104 Edgerton Street as
requested by Mr. Buetow given the fact that it will not be possible to screen the site to
be compatible with the surrounding residential uses and the open and outdoor storage
is not consistent with the character of the neighborhood.
Mr. Buetow was not present at the Planning Commission meeting, however he did view
the Planning Commission videotape. Mr. Buetow understands that the screening of
outdoor storage on this property is an issue along with the neighboring residents
concerns of the aesthetic appearance of the property.
Mr. Buetow has decided to change his original site plan proposal. He has submitted a
revised letter of intent and site plan.
Page 15
