MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JUNE 22, 1999 <br />CUP FOR OPEN <br />AND OUTDOOR <br />STORAGE — 3152. <br />COUNTRY DR. — <br />BOB DeBACE <br />Pedersen suggested that a solution may be to allow the outdoor storage for <br />a period of time. Pedersen felt that the property owner needed to have <br />some options. <br />Fahey suggested that the matter be tabled until the July 14th Council <br />meeting to give staff an opportunity to explore options that would meet <br />both the City's needs and Mr. Buetow's. <br />The City Planner noted that the City has a 60 -day time period to review <br />CUP applications. However, the City can extend that time period for 60 <br />days for further review. <br />Mr. LaVaile introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 99 -6-148 — TABLING ACTION ON THE <br />CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR OPEN AND OUTDOOR <br />STORAGE AS AN ACCESSORY USE AT 3104 EDGERTON STREET <br />UNTIL THE JULY 14, 1999 COUNCIL MEETING PENDING A <br />RECOMMENDATION FROM STAFF AS TO ADDITIONAL <br />OPTIONS FOR THIS PROPERTY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Morelan. <br />Ayes (5) LaVaile, Morelan, Pedersen, Scalze, Fahey. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 99 -6-149 — EXTENDING THE CITY'S 60 -DAY <br />REVIEW PERIOD OF THE BUETOW CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br />APPLICATION PENDING FURTHER STUDY OF THIS ISSUE <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaVaile. <br />Ayes (5) Fahey, LaVaile, Morelan, Pedersen, Scalze. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Mayor Fahey opened the public hearing to consider the application for <br />open and outdoor storage of equipment and materials as an accessory <br />use at 3152 Country Drive as requested by Mr. Bob DeBace. Fahey <br />noted that the Planning Commission has recommended approval <br />of the CUP with the stipulation that the rear parking area need not be <br />blacktopped. <br />Page 25 <br />
