MINUTES CITY COUNCIL JULY 14, 1999 Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 99 -7 -168 —TABLING ACTION ON THE CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT APPLICATION FOR OPEN AND OUTDOOR STORAGE AS AN ACCESSORY USE FOR 3104 EDGERTON STREET AS REQUESTED BY MR ROBERT BUETOW UNTIL THE JULY 28, 1999 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. Ayes (5) Scalze, LaValle, Pedersen, Morelan, Fahey. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. CTJP — Mayor Fahey reported that the Planning Commission has tabled action 208 RYAN on the CUP for open and outdoor storage of trucks and equipment as an LANE — accessory use and the Variance from boulevard landscape requirements METRO as requested by Russ Fischer, Metro Cleaning Service, 208 Ryan Lane, CLEANING pending information from the applicant on soil conditions on the south side of the building. Mr: LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 99 -7 -169 — TABLING ACTION ON THE CUP AND VARL4NCE FOR METRO CLEANING SERVICE, 208 RYAN LANE, PENDING A RECOMMENDATION FROM THE PLANNING COMMISSION The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Morelan. Ayes (5) LaValle, Morelan, Scalze, Fahey, Pedersen. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. CUP — Mayor Fahey opened the public hearing to consider the application by 190 RYAN Paul Behr, St. Paul Utilities, for open and outdoor storage of trucks, LANE — equipment, and materials as an accessory use. Fahey noted that the ST. PAUL Planning Commission recommended approval of the CUP contingent UTILITIES upon compliance with the recommendations of the Zoning Administrator as outlined in her report dated June 28, 1999. Paul Behr reported that he is in agreement with the recommendations of the Zoning Administrator. There was no one from the public present wishing to comment on this matter. Page 27
