MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JULY 14, 1999 <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 99 -7 -168 —TABLING ACTION ON THE <br />CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT APPLICATION FOR OPEN AND <br />OUTDOOR STORAGE AS AN ACCESSORY USE FOR 3104 <br />EDGERTON STREET AS REQUESTED BY MR ROBERT BUETOW <br />UNTIL THE JULY 28, 1999 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, LaValle, Pedersen, Morelan, Fahey. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />CTJP — Mayor Fahey reported that the Planning Commission has tabled action <br />208 RYAN on the CUP for open and outdoor storage of trucks and equipment as an <br />LANE — accessory use and the Variance from boulevard landscape requirements <br />METRO as requested by Russ Fischer, Metro Cleaning Service, 208 Ryan Lane, <br />CLEANING pending information from the applicant on soil conditions on the south <br />side of the building. <br />Mr: LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 99 -7 -169 — TABLING ACTION ON THE CUP <br />AND VARL4NCE FOR METRO CLEANING SERVICE, 208 RYAN <br />LANE, PENDING A RECOMMENDATION FROM THE PLANNING <br />COMMISSION <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Morelan. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Morelan, Scalze, Fahey, Pedersen. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />CUP — Mayor Fahey opened the public hearing to consider the application by <br />190 RYAN Paul Behr, St. Paul Utilities, for open and outdoor storage of trucks, <br />LANE — equipment, and materials as an accessory use. Fahey noted that the <br />ST. PAUL Planning Commission recommended approval of the CUP contingent <br />UTILITIES upon compliance with the recommendations of the Zoning Administrator <br />as outlined in her report dated June 28, 1999. <br />Paul Behr reported that he is in agreement with the recommendations of <br />the Zoning Administrator. <br />There was no one from the public present wishing to comment on this <br />matter. <br />Page 27 <br />
