MINUTES <br />CITY' COUNCIL_ <br />September 27, 1989 <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved <br />its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 89 -9 -462 - CLOSING THE PUBLIC HEARING <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. <br />Collova. <br />Ayes (5) Fahey, Collova, Blesener, Scalze, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 89 -9 -463 - APPROVING THE ROGER STANKE <br />VARIANCE REQUEST FOR REAR YARD St.r'xiACK VARIANCE AT 209 <br />RYAN DRIVE DUE TO THE NARROW DEPTH OF THE PROPERTY AND <br />DUE. TO THE SETBACK OF THE EXISTING BUILDING SUBJECT TO <br />THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE CITY PLANNER. AND WITH TFiE <br />STIPULATION THAT A LANDSCAPING PLAN BE SUBMITTED AND <br />APPROVED BY 'flit: CITY PLANNER, SUBJECT TO A SUBMISSION <br />OE A BOND BEING POSTED UNTIL LANDSCAPING IS INSTALLED, <br />AND CONTINGENT THAT NO OCCUPANCY PERMIT IS ISSUED ON <br />THE NEW ADDITION UNTIL. THE BLACKTOP IS INSTALLED IN THE <br />FRONT OF 'flit: EXISTING BUILDING AND PROPOSED ADDITION, <br />HOWEVER, IF AN OCCUPANCY PERMIT IS REQUIRED BEFORE THE <br />BLACKTOP IS INSTALLED, THE CITY WILL REQUIRE THAT A <br />BOND BE POSTED FOR 'i'iit: BLACKTOPPING, WITH THE BLACKTOP <br />PLAN TO BE APPROVED BY THE CITY PLANNER, AND FINALLY <br />WZTH APPROVAL TO BE SUBJECT TO THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF <br />THE CITY PLANNER AS CONTAINED IN HIS REPORT DATED <br />SEPTEMBER 11, 1989. <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. <br />Fahey. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, Fahey, LaValle, Collova, Scalze. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />LaValle asked if the ordinance addressed inoperable <br />cars sitting in the industrial park for extended <br />periods of time. <br />The. City Planner reported that vehicles that are being <br />worked on by a business would not be subject to the <br />Code which addresses unlicensed vehicles in any zoning <br />district. However, such vehicles are not allowed to be <br />stored in the front yard of a business. <br />Page 133 <br />
