MINUTES
PLANNING COMMISSION
AUGUST 12, 1999
ADJOURN
The Planner pointed out that at one point all auto - related uses
allowed in the B -2 District rolled over into the B -3 District. A
couple of years ago, the Council made changes so that this rollover
of auto related uses no longer happened.
The Planner indicated that the proposed B -4 District recombines
the auto- related uses with other business uses. The creation of this
new district will provide the City with more control as to where
this mixed use can occur in the City.
The Planner recommended that the Commission support the B -4
District as submitted. He also noted that all permitted uses in any
of the Business Districts will roll over as permitted uses in the B-4
District.
Carson recommended the creation of the B -4 (Comprehensive
Business) District as proposed by the City Planner.
Motion seconded by Kraemer.
Motion carried 4 — 0.
Montour recommended that the meeting be adjourned.
Motion seconded by Carson.
Motion carried 4 — 0.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 9:10
P.M.
Respectfully submitted,
Kathy Glanz
Deputy Clerk
Page 149
