Hanson <br />Negotiations have commenced with the owners of the car wash property. They have <br />informed me that they have an ownership interest in the Klein property at 2620 Rice <br />Street as well as in the property adjacent to the pond south of the car wash property. I <br />have informed them the City doesn't intend to pay a premium for their properties, and <br />they can be excluded from the deal pursuant to our Development Agreement with R. J. <br />Marco and subject to Council approval. <br />We are discussing the terms by which a voluntary sale may occur. There are a couple of <br />obstacles that I am not sure we can satisfactorily resolve. I am doing further analysis on <br />these issues.
