Marco Construction has petitioned for the vacation of a 10 -foot strip of Viking <br />Drive that is needed to square off their property and our Viking Drive road right -of -way. <br />The vacation information is attached for your review. Due to the fact that the property <br />was transferred via quit claim deed to the City from the State, we will also need to deed <br />(quit claim) this property to R. J. Marco Construction, Inc. to complete this transaction <br />(this is the same process we followed with the St. Jude transaction on Viking Drive). <br />Attached for your review is a purchase agreement. I am proposing that the sale price be <br />$1 with the additional consideration of the developer installing an adequate storm sewer <br />system on their property to serve as an overflow route for public drainage from <br />Minnesota Avenue and the Little Canada Mall property (this was discussed at the <br />improvement hearing for Minnesota Avenue). <br />Subject to any comments by the City Attorney and final review by R.
