CITY OF LITTLE CANADA <br />RESOLUTION FOR VACATING A PORTION OF I HE NORTH SERVICE <br />ROAD OF TRUNK HIGHWAY NO. 36 (VHQNG DRIVE) <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of Little Canada has determined to vacate a portion of the <br />North Service Road of Trunk Highway No. 36 (Viking Drive); <br />AND WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on August 25, 1999 before the City Council <br />in the City Center after due published and posted notice had been given by the City <br />Administrator on August 3, 1999, a reasonable attempt was made to give personal notice <br />to all affected property owners, and all persons interested were given an opportunity to be <br />heard; <br />AND WHEREAS, any person, corporation or city owning or controlling easements <br />contained upon the property vacated, reserves the right to continue maintaining the same <br />or to enter upon such way or portion thereof vacated to maintain, repair, replace, remove <br />or otherwise attend thereto; <br />AND WHEREAS, it appears that it will be in the best interest of the City to vacate such <br />streets; <br />AND WHEREAS, four -fifths of all members of the City Council concur in this <br />resolution; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the following is hereby vacated: <br />That part of Lot 35, J. F. Eisenmenger's Garden Lots, according to the duly <br />recorded plat thereof, Ramsey County, Minnesota, which lies northerly of a line <br />run parallel with and distant 40.00 feet northerly of the following described Line <br />A, southerly of a line 50.00 feet northerly of and parallel with said Line on said <br />Line A, and easterly of a line perpendicular to said Line A passing through a point <br />on said Line A which point is 85.00 feet westerly of the termination point of said <br />Line A: <br />Line A <br />Beginning at a point on the west line of Section 7, Township 29 North, <br />Range 22 West, said Ramsey County, distant 886.00 feet north of the <br />southwest corner thereof, thence run easterly at an angle of 90 feet; thence <br />deflect to the right at an angle of 53 degrees 09 minutes 16 seconds for <br />143.32 feet; thence deflect to the left on a 20 degree 00 minutes 00 <br />seconds curve (delta angle 53 degrees 05 minutes 07 seconds) for 265.43 <br />Page 60 <br />
