Hanson <br />A purchase agreement and a lease have been presented to the owners of 2600 Rice <br />Street. (Copy enclosed.) The offer is as follows: <br />• $240,000 for 2600 Rice Street (Appraised Value) <br />• Their purchase price for 2620 Rice Street (Klein Property) <br />• Their purchase price for 2580 Rice Street (Pond Property) <br />• $20,000 Relocation Payment <br />• $15,000 to avoid eminent domain <br />• Closing on the purchase on or before October 15, 1999, subject to <br />satisfactory environmental and soil reports <br />• Lease back of the car wash at $600 per month through March 15, <br />2000. ($600 figure is for reimbursement of real estate taxes. They <br />would be responsible for all utility, insurance, and maintenance costs.) <br />• Salvage rights to existing equipment and fixtures subject to the March <br />15th date. <br />I received a counter offer this afternoon that has some significant differences from the <br />one I proposed. (Their changes are highlighted on the attached copy.)
