Public Works Garage <br />Background Information <br />3100 Country Drive <br />1. Equipment/Materials in storage yard (North and South end of property) <br />• Plow/Wing Assemblies <br />• Dumpster <br />• Misc. Castings /Covers for man holes /Catch basins <br />• Concrete Rings <br />• Vehicles (ie. trucks, tractor, loader, skid steer) <br />• 300 -350 tons sand /salt <br />• misc. fence posts <br />• misc. piles of materials up to 50 cubic yards with the exception of sand /salt mix of <br />up to 400 cubic yards with a height limitation of 15 ft. (ie. black dirt/fill <br />dirt/gravel /sand /asphalt/woodchips etc.) <br />• Misc. barrels and other equipment needed to service the community. <br />2. Screening materials <br />North of building: Chain link fence six (6) foot high with five (5) — six (6) feet high <br />evergreens (arborvitae). <br />South of building: Concrete wall six (6) foot high, constructed of two (2)' x three (3)' x <br />three (3)' concrete blocks along the north west side ( "L" shaped structure). The west <br />side of storage area will also have a four (4)' foot high earth berm placed with <br />evergreen shrubs on the top of the berm area. <br />3. Wood chip pile <br />The wood chip pile is provided as a community service to its citizens. The wood <br />chip pile would be located on the far south end of the property on a blacktop surface. <br />This wood chip pile can not be adequately screened due to the nature of the pile. <br />Should the City continue to provide its citizens with wood chips? <br />4. Additional pavement and marking of parking spaces will be completed by December <br />31, 1999. <br />Page 16 <br />
