CITY OF LITTLE CANADA ORDINANCE NO. AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 920.035 OF THE LITTLE CANADA ZONING CODE BY ADDING INTERIM USES TO THE PUBLIC DISTRICT. The City Council of the City of Little Canada hereby ordains: Section 1. Section 920.035 is hereby added as follows: 920.035. INTERIM USES. The following are interim uses in the "P" District, subject to the issuance of an Interim Use Permit, per the procedures as listed in Section 921 of this ordinance. A. The establishment of a "Wood Chip Pile" at Country Drive Pin# 06- 29- 22 -11- 0002 -1 as a service to citizens of Little Canada, subject to the following conditions: 1. The use is found to be consistent with existing surrounding uses in the area and with the underlying land use plan for the district in which it is located. 2. The Wood Chip Pile must be the exclusive use of the property subject to the permit, and shall not be mixed with other land uses, whether permitted or conditional as this site will not be fully screened from residential uses or public right -of -way. 3. The use will not be screened from adjacent residential uses or public right -of- way as to deter dumping of unwanted materials in this area along with safety and access to the wood chip pile. 4. The maximum allowable height of the wood chip pile is fifteen (15) feet. 5. This use would sunset upon sale of adjacent Public Works Garage to the north of this property. 6. The wood chip area and associated drives must be surfaced with Class V or other material as determined by City Council. 7. Other conditions or requirements as specified by City Council deemed necessary to keep the site from becoming a nuisance to the public or adjoining property owners. 8. If site becomes a pubic nuisance as determined by the Code Enforcement Officer and/or Public Works Director this use will terminated and restored to a green area. Page 143
